It is a fact then when I try to go to the gym in the mornings I NEVER remember to bring a towel. If you don’t remember my gym is actually IN my office building. I have been a lunch gym goer since starting this job last August, which means I have not one but TWO giant beach towels at my desk. So I never have to bring in a towel to work. So when I go in the morning I just don’t think about it. Until I look in my bag and realize ahhh yep didn’t pack one, again: prime example.It is a good thing that my office is used to my post work out looks. No one will even notice today. When you set the bar low you can only go up : ) I am also one of those lucky people whose hair takes forever to get greasy. After my weekend of camping that included working out, a day of drinking and tubing, numerous camp fires, and sharing a toasty tent my hair still looked and felt the same as when we arrived. I don’t hate it.
ANYWHOOOO – Once I realized I didn’t have a towel I figured I would try not to get too sweaty. HA who was I kidding, I go from zero to soaked in about .2 seconds. I just like to think of my body as incredibly efficient at cooling itself off. I was soaked at the end of my work out so I went to the stretching mats that conveniently have giant AC vents above them and stretched myself out while getting my body temp back to normal. My work out today was all weights and it was a good one – give it a whirl: I had to work out this morning because we are headed out for our long weekend right from work. I knew I wouldn’t have a chance to other wise today. I actually almost talked myself out of going to the gym this morning but I was smart and planned for that. I wore my gym clothes to Brennan’s last night and left my work clothes in my car. THUS forcing myself out to the car anyways in my gym clothes.It’s not like I would get to the gym / work, pop in the gym to change, and then just go on up to my office. Sneaky right? Next time I just need to remember a towel.
